Heather Freed, CFP®, CLU, CHS is an independent Certified Financial Planner servicing clients in Ontario. She works with her clients to help them find the best and most appropriate coverage. Most of her clients are business owners and self employed individuals looking to protect themselves, their families and their employees in a cost effective manner. Areas of expertise include: Estate and Succession Planning, Financial Planning (including Retirement Planning), and Employee Benefits

Each of her clients has unique requirements. She provides expert and impartial advice to meet her clients needs today and in the future. Together they look at the big picture, their current situation and their individual goals. Then, they develop a sound, structured plan / solution with the proper tools and resources, in order to meet those expectations and goals.

Heather belongs to Advocis - The Financial Advisors Association of Canada. Advocis is the oldest and largest voluntary professional membership association of financial advisors in Canada. What does that mean to you? It means that Heather follows a Professional Code of Conduct, upholds standards of best practice, participates in ongoing continuing education programs, maintains appropriate levels of professional liability insurance and is committed to putting her client interests first.

Heather is involved with a Woman's charity that raises funds and supports women and children in need. She also sits on several non profit boards.

My name is Heather Freed and I help you insure your freedom. I'm an insurance broker and I understand that as a rule, people don't like to think about insurance much. That's probably because it reminds them of all the things in life that aren't pleasant – all the reasons that one needs insurance for in the first place.

My approach to insurance is a little different from other insurance brokers because I believe in a well-planned insurance program.

I provide insurance for business owners to protect their employees and to families to ensure they are taken care of.

Creating an individualized plan is, quite possibly, one of the smartest investments you'll ever make. Unlike a lot of other types of investments, insurance is an excellent defence for the future.
